Parent/Student Information

Our school district uses multiple ways to contact parents of any school closures, delays, bus route changes and/or any emergency changes. We use Facebook, all call to parents and Flash Alert Messenger. Below you will find the Flash Alert installation instructions.

Are you interested in participating in Virtual Chess Club with Mr. X and your classmates? If so, please sign up below as soon as possible. Virtual Chess Club will start on Monday, October 5th. If you have any additional questions, please contact Mr. X at jerry.xiong@amity.k12.or.us.

Tales2Go is an online audiobook streaming service that offers Amity Middle School students the ability to listen to hundreds of audio books. Tales2Go can be accessed online or through a phone app. Each student has their own log in and password. Sixth grade class would contact Mrs. Wallace for their log in information, while the seventh and eighth class would contact Mrs. James for their log in information. If your student forgets their password to Tales2Go, please reach out to the teachers listed above. Attached is a letter explaining the app and how to access it from home in the email you have received from me.

Wifi Access Available & Tech Info

We have wifi access for our students to complete their school work. These wifi access points are both located at the middle school: side paved parking lot (by the office side door) and middle school gravel parking lot (by the gym doors). If you have a district chrome book it will automatically connect. If not, you will need to contact the middle school office to get the password for ASD Guest at 503-835-0518.

If your student is having problems with their chromebook, please reach out to the office. Mrs. Galer or Miss Brenda will help you problem solve.

Is your student's chrome book mouse pad acting up? The school has mice available, if needed. If you are in need of one, please contact the office to arrange pick up.

If your student forgets their email password, please contact Mrs. Galer at holly.galer@amity.k12.or.us or at 503-835-0518.

Students and Parents can access grades through the Parent Internet Viewer, located on our district website. Once you click on the "Parent Internet Viewer" button, it will take you to a log in page. There you will enter your username and password. If you or your student forget or don't have your PIV (Parent Internet Viewer) grade book log in, please contact Miss Brenda at brenda.whiteley@amity.k12.or.us or at 503-835-0518. *Sixth grade students will get theirs's in the coming weeks*

Breakfast & Lunch Information

Meals, both breakfast and lunch, will be available for pick up on school days at the elementary school between 10am-1pm. Meals will also be delivered along bus routes on school days between 10:30am-11:40am. Bus route stops and times are posted on the school district website and at all school sites. A person will need to meet the bus to get a breakfast and/or a lunch. Meals at this time are free to children ages 0-18. Please contact Amity School District if you have any questions.

Counselor News

Are you needing to meet with Mr. Larson? You can set up a virtual meeting with Mr. Larson by using the Google form below. These sessions are 30 minutes and are to be scheduled during your non school time. For example, AM cohort should schedule during PM time frames. While PM cohorts should schedule during AM time frames.

Library News

I haven't forgotten you! I am working on getting our library catalog online so you can look up books, place holds, and have books delivered to you. I would like to host a book discussion group; if you are interested, please email me as soon as possible. This doesn't commit you to the group, it just gives me an idea of the interest. Include book suggestions and ideas too. I'm working on book talks as well, they will be presented online soon.

The middle school collects Box Tops for Education and participates in the Coca-Cola Rewards program for schools.

For Box Tops- We can still collect the "clip" ones that say $0.10. However, you can click on the link below, set up an account, pick Amity Middle School and start scanning your receipts for box tops.

For Coca-Cola rewards- if you purchase Coca-Cola products, enter the code on the lid or box by clicking on the link below. Did you know some of these products can bring in anywhere from $0.05 to $0.15 each! You will need to set up an account, and pick Amity Middle School.

All money raised from both of these goes back to our end of the year field trips and after school activities such as Warriors Night Out and Dances.


We are looking into hosting "open practices" for our school sports, that would be similar to the high schools. If your athlete is interested in participating in any sports this year, please fill out the Google form(s) interest on our website, link provided below. Once we have more information, your coaches will be in contact with those who have signed up.

Below are the sports schedules for the school year. At this time, sports will not be starting until the end of December, with girls basketball followed by boys basketball. However, we do ask that parents and students be understanding if we have any setbacks or if sports gets pushed back. We will do our part to keep you posted of any changes that may arise.

Coach Dyer at the high school has started a recreational soccer group. Practices will be held Monday-Wednesday from 5-6:30pm. Thursday's are game days from 5-7pm. This is open to anyone (boys or girls) grades 6-12 who would like to come out and play soccer. Just show up at the high school soccer field. Email Mr. Dyer if you have questions at andrew.dyer@amity.k12.or.us.

During your "off" time from school, we are asking that you utilize those time frames for doing homework. For example: if you're in the AM cohort, use the afternoon times (12:30pm-3:50pm) to work on your homework from the first three classes you attended that morning. If you're in the PM cohort, use the morning times (8am-11:20am) to work on your homework from the previous three classes you attended the day before.
