The Great Depression has been on for about ten years. Basically it was from 1929 to 1939. The Great Depression occurred in the United States This was not a good thing back in the day for people. They never liked it. A lot of people lost their homes and their jobs because The Great Depression. People literally had to stand outside to get food.

During the Great Depression, men couldn't find any jobs because the owners from the jobs couldn't pay the workers and because the Great Depression caused all of it. Children had to stop being education. They helped their father onto getting a job.

Some people couldn't really do anything with the Great Depression. They couldn't get a job, they have to stand in line, outside of the restaurant. Before this all happened people were happy.
