There is a right way and a wrong way to write an email. In fact its very hard to know how to write a proper email.
Everyone struggles with knowing what to write. So, here are a few guidelines to help guide you through the email.
Know the email address that you are trying to reach.
When you enter a subject line make sure it gets to the point! The Subject should be what the email is about. Short and to the point.
When addressing the email, use the respective title associated with that person. Sometimes it can be Dr., Mr., Mrs., Ms.. Use the appropriate title and add their last name.
The content of the email should be quick and to the point. You don't need to elaborate, just simply ask or give the information.
Finish the email with a 'Thank You' or 'Best Wishes' then add your name underneath. Now, you try by sending me an email!
