Computer Applications By: Kenzie Hamerski

Why?

I chose to take Computer Applications because I wanted to improve my typing skills and I wanted to become more comfortable when using a computer.

Most Important Thing That You Have Learned?

The most important thing that I have learned this year was how to use the Microsoft Office Suite. This is very important because I know that these tools will be used a lot in the future, either for college or for a job in the future.

Microsoft Office Includes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more.

Three Top Projects?

Piktochart - This was one of my favorite projects this year. In class we had to create one relating to school, I made mine on how to get ready for school fast. I liked this project because it is a fun substitute for making a presentation.

Breakout EDU - This would have to be my all time favorite project for this year. We had to open a locked box and work with each other to figure out the clues. I liked this project because I love to solve puzzles and riddles.

Screencastify - This is one of my favorite projects this year. We had to create a "How To" tutorial that had to be at least 30 seconds long. I liked this project because I like to teach people how to do things.

Conclusion

I would take Computer Applications again because it was very useful and it taught me how to use many different tools to help me with school. I would recommend this class to one of my peers because it helped me to improve my typing and it showed me different kinds of tools to use in school.
