This Photo is called (The Card Players). And what it is showing is a painting during C├ęzanne's final period in the early 1890s, there are five paintings in the series.

WHERE IS THE ARTIST FROM:This artist is from Aix-en-Provence, France and was born on the date of January 19, 1839. And he died in the same city. So on October 22, 1906 he died in Aix-en-Provence, France.

A SIGNIFICANT TIME IN HIS LIFE THAT WAS IMPORTANT:A significant time in his life that was important was that he was a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter. And what his work did for him was aid the foundations of the transition from the 19th-century conception of artistic endeavor to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century. And last was some of his quotes. One of them was, "A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art." And that one I really like because is has to do with art.

OVERALL MEANING OF HER ARTWORK:The overall meaning of his work was to show the world to regard color, line, and "form" as constituting one and the same thing, or inseparable aspects for describing how the human eye actually experiences nature. Another thing was to applied his pigments to the canvas in a series of discrete, methodical brushstrokes as though he were "constructing" a picture rather than "painting" it. Thus, his work remains true to an underlying architectural ideal: every portion of the canvas should contribute to its overall structural integrity.
