Video content is a major component of digital storytelling. People watch videos on their social feeds, YouTube channels, news and blog articles, and more. Since we’re constantly watching video content, sometimes an opportunity arises when we’re on the go where you can’t hear the audio of a video or don’t have headphones to plug in. Subtitles allow viewers to watch a video without audio so they can still enjoy the video. Subtitles can also be used for introductions, credits, or explaining context of what’s playing on the screen. Share important details and enhance your video by adding subtitles using Adobe Spark Video.
Open up your Adobe Spark Video mobile app. Upload filmed content to your timeline and choose the size format that suits your needs by tapping “Resize.”
Tap the “Layout” tab and choose “Caption” to create a subtitle for a specific clip. Once you choose your layout, return to the clip and press the plus button to add text. Use the size controls to make your font larger or smaller.
Tap “Theme” to explore font and color variations. Each theme offers different font styles, as well as video and text animations. Tap the pencil icon to explore color options that will give your captioned text a background.
Adobe Spark Post saves your design so you can go back and make additional changes. Revise the video size, add new music, or tack on opening and closing credits. You can always revert back to your original version as needed.
With Adobe Spark Video, you can create professional looking videos in moments. Add subtitles to your videos for social media, YouTube, or for sharing with friends and family. Share your final work across any channel to impress and entertain your viewers.
