Adobe Spark Post is part of Adobe Spark’s trio of free, online design software for non-designers. Made for small projects such as custom ID cards, Adobe Spark Post provides all the ID card templates, images and inspiration you need to start designing your own school, employment or membership ID cards for free.
From Spark Post's editor, select a size that fits your needs, or choose “Start from scratch” to set up a custom size for your card. Once your card appears in your workspace, you can make adjustments.
From your “My Projects” screen, select “Themes” to choose options in the drop-down menu. Your theme comes with layout and color palette choices as well as suggested backgrounds and fonts, but you can change all these.
Spark Post’s themes have a default background image, but you can replace it with an image from your computer or from a variety of Creative Commons images you can search right from your Spark dashboard. You can also fill the background with a color or pattern.
Type your ID card’s information in the text boxes that appear in your template. To change fonts or font styles and colors, highlight your text and make new selections from the color palettes and drop-down font menus.
When your card looks just right, click the "Publish and Share" option to save your design to your project gallery. Share it online with a unique URL generated by Spark, or download it for printing
With Adobe Spark’s other design tools, you can find even more ways to customize and share the cards you create with Post’s ID creator. Embed your card in a Spark Page dedicated to telling the story of your event or introducing your company, or embed it in a video that showcases your organization and your work. You can also add your card design to other Post projects, such as brochures, flyers or posters. Because all your designs are saved to your Spark project gallery, you can edit them or move them among other Spark tools at any time.
With Spark’s ID badge maker, you can create professional-looking projects in minutes, and no design experience is needed. You'll also become a part of the Spark design community, with access to Spark's inspiration gallery, design advice from the blog and support from designers just like you. Spark Post’s ID maker puts all the design tools you need at your fingertips — and it’s all entirely free.
