The HUB-Robeson Galleries are proud to present "Frozen in the Toilet Paper Aisle of Life: Man Up!", a serious and comic theatrical piece written and performed by Dr. Bill Doan and Dr. Tyler Sperrazza.

The performance is drawn from Dr. Doan's exhibition and research project, "The Anxiety Project", which is currently on view in HUB Gallery at Penn State University Park. It was written in an effort to bridge the gap between students and critical conversations surrounding mental health and toxic masculinity.

Dr. Bill Doan is a Professor of Theatre at Penn State who utilizes visual and performing arts to explore the anxiety and depression experience realized through both personal struggles and academic research. Dr. Doan is also the director of Penn State's Arts & Design Research Incubator, has co-authored three books, and written several plays and multiple scholarly articles and performance pieces.
