Limbo Pandemic Perspectives from UNT Photojournalism Students

In March, 2020, University of North Texas students' lives were upended. The world around them plunged into limbo as local and state authorities imposed a series of increasingly strict restrictions on mobility and commerce in an effort to control the spread of COVID-19.

Photojournalism students in UNT’s Mayborn School of Journalism abandoned their on-going reporting projects, focusing instead on the surreal suspension of life around them. Some even turned their lenses on themselves. We present a selection of those projects.
