Following the success of recent singles Unfold and To Be With, electro-folk outfit Night House return with their brand new single Five Years Old, out on 5th July 2019 via Back In The Woods Records.
The band draw from a wide range of influences marrying the electronic work the likes of which James Blake and Radiohead are renowned for, with the folk harmonies of Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, and Bon Iver.
Recorded live in Germany on their headline european tour it features a stunning reinvention of Radiohead's Talk Show Host and Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill, alongside stripped back songs from their critically acclaimed debut album. The brand new song "A Home at the End of the World" closes the album in a blur of descending strings, fender rhodes chords and haunting vocals.
Night House have picked up support from tastemakers such as M-Magazine (PRS for Music), Clash Magazine, BBC Radio, The Vinyl District and Come Here Floyd, as well as videos premiering on Attitude Magazine and God is in the TV.
Night House have supported many artists including Ben Howard, Willy Mason, Solomon Grey, Krystle Warren and The Magic Numbers. Road testing the material for Everyone Is Watching From Afar took the band on four European tours, including headline shows upstairs at Ronnie Scots Jazz club as well as sell out home town shows at Brighton’s St Nicholas and Unitarian churches. They've performed at many festivals including at The Great Escape, Rhythm Tree, The Isle of Wight and Ynot.
EVERYONE IS WATCHING - LIVE, is out now via Back in The Woods Records.
