Hello and Welcome to Edition 65! Lots of exciting things happened this week at PALS Adult Program. Here is a look...

I did Vocational Boxes with Kevin. I did the sugar caddies. I put sugar packs in the boxes. I like it. I like this class! - ARIEL

We talked about Expected and Unexpected Behaviours in the Cafe like McDonalds. I practised how to order food like chicken nuggets, French fries and ice pops. - JULIA

I cut the wicks and peeled the tape off the candles in Art Class. - TANYA

I earned my treat and bought chips from Greens. I really like it. - SANGEON

I was excited to get my treat with Nicole and Monika. It made me happy and proud of myself. I chose frog stickers and crafts. I had fun. - ABBIE

I filled up salt and pepper shakers in vocational training. I am good at it. It is easy. - CHARLIE

This week, I did lots of shredding for Karin. I worked hard. - CHRIS C

I like vocational boxes. I sorted buttons. There were different shapes and colours. I had fun, I like it. - CHRIS O

Laila made cards and did some colouring during her free time.

I like to mop, I think it is cool. I do it in the cleaning program. I mopped ten rooms. It's awesome! - JAMIE

I vacuumed the hallways and the classrooms during cleaning program. It was easy. I mastered it. - GABBY

I had fun cleaning the windows. I used Windex and a cloth. I did a great job. - KARL

We talked about behaviours in the workplace in Social Thinking. We talked about lots of stuff. It was fun. - MELISSA

This week, I earned my pizza treat. I went with Monika and Abbie. I was very proud of myself and happy. - NICOLE

We got tired so we sat down on the swings before going back to PALS from the gym. It was so fun. - FRASER

Doug went to Canadian Tire this week. He enjoyed testing vacuum cleaners and bought plants for his room.

We said goodbye to our UBC Student Teacher, Kevin!

Kevin was with us for three weeks. In the short span of time, he has done work, above and beyond his duty. We were truly fortunate to have him. Thank you for everything Kevin! We will miss you!

I will miss Kevin. I wrote a card for him and drew a picture of him. I wrote a lot of things for him. He will be happy when he sees the card. He is an amazing teacher. It was good to talk to him and see him while he was at PALS. - SANGEON
