Iron & Quill is as unique as its name. We celebrate strength, beauty and individuality. We believe in inclusivity, honesty, authentic service, environmental consciousness and positive change.
We believe in being yourself and we created a space where we will do our best to make your hair goals a reality in a safe, judgement free zone.
We believe everyone deserves a great experience while getting their hair done. So we invite you to come share in the experience in a way it’s never been done before.

But we also believe nothing is more important than community. We stand together, create together & support one another always.

We are open 5 days a week, but we are available for special occasion/ private event bookings on Sunday & Mondays. Please check with your individual stylist for their availability.
We schedule appointments a little differently here. We book services in blocks of time sessions. Sessions are genderless, all inclusive and gratuity free.
Each artist charges a unique hourly session rate based on their education, skillset experience, specialties, and demand.
We believe this approach is transparent and equitable for both the guest and artist.
Instead of offering "a la carte" pricing, we charge for services based on how long it takes.

Mia is a natural texture and dry cutting alchemist.
She has 8 years experience behind the chair as well as being a second generation hairdresser.
Mia was born doing hair, it is in her DNA.
Her hair instincts are on point with a strong hair education.
Mia is Graduate of NFA cosmetology program. She then continued to elevate her hair education with Arrojo Salon Bootcamp in Soho NYC, along with ongoing education to expand her craft.
She loves helping humans embrace and over come their struggles that they face with their natural texture, curls, utilizing her dry cutting techniques along with easy to use products and customized hair habits.
Mia believes in serving humanity through beauty, grace & acceptance. Individuality is Key!

Jessica has been highlighting and dry-cutting hair for almost a decade and is an absolute expert in her craft.
She is a total pro at fixing any color mishaps and she's super talented with curly hair and natural textures.
And if you're looking for a killer blowout, she's definitely your girl. Just keep in mind that she doesn't work with short hair.
She is also a master at working with vivid hair colors and enjoys taking on challenging hair color projects. Change is her magic!
Jessica is bilingual in Spanish, which is a great bonus!

Listen, we all know seeing a new stylist can be scary, so let us help ease the nerves. We are consultation masters, color & cut specialists. We will take our time navigating your first visit and all future appointments to ensure you get exactly what you need at each visit, without keeping you in our chairs longer than you need to be. So if you are ready to get going, just text your preferred stylist to request the new client consultation questionnaire or you can fill it out here.
What To Expect :
Your stylist will take a look at your hair history you filled out and they will reach back via text to ask any more questions they may have. Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email/text with all the details you need before you arrive.
Iron & Quill is welcoming, good-vibes and full of love & kindness. We know you’ll love it as much as we do!
No- Shows
Not showing up for your scheduled appointment will result in a fee of 100% of the appointment’s value. Future appointments will require a non refundable deposit to reserve a service.
Late Cancellations
Iron & Quill requires 24 hour notice for appointment cancellations. Appointments cancelled with late notice may be subject to a fee of 50% or more of the scheduled appointment value. Charges will be applied at the stylist discretion. If it’s Due to Covid-19, cancellation fees do not apply.
SERVICES
We always want you to love your hair, so if you are not happy with your service, please give us a call no more than a week from your original service date. You will be scheduled with your stylist for a Color Call-Back Service free of charge.
We do not provide monetary refunds for services.
Please note that we are not responsible for any damages to your clothing, shoes or any other personal items.
RETAIL
If you are unhappy with any product purchased from the shop, you may exchange it or receive a product credit for future use within 30 days of purchase. No cash refunds.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU VISIT
Since the mandatory statewide closure due to COVID-19, we want to assure you that we are taking the health and safety of our clients, our stylists, and our employees very seriously. There are many new safety precautions and sanitation measures that we are implementing. Below is an overview of what you can expect when you visit Iron & Quill Salon for your appointment.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Your stylist may reach out to you in advance of your appointment to touch base with more specific information relevant to you and your upcoming service.
- Self-Screen for symptoms, if you need free testing click link above
- If you are not feeling well, show any signs of being sick, have been in contact with anyone who is sick, if you or someone you have been in close contact is waiting for Covid 19 test results, please reschedule with your stylist with as much notice as possible.
- All clients, employees, and stylists will be required to wear a mask that properly covers your mouth & nose while inside the salon. Your stylist may also be wearing eye protection for further safety precautions.
- Please arrive on-time for your appointment and allow an additional 5-10 minutes for check-in.
- Please come to your appointment alone (no extra guests or children) for the time being.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE SALON
- Send a text to Your stylist when you arrive in the parking lot of the shop
- You are welcome to wait in your car or outside of Iron & Quill Salon
- Your stylist will send you a text when they are ready for you *this will allow us to time to sanitize before you come into the space.
- Once the stylist is ready for you & they text you, we will come to the entrance to greet you.
- Your stylist will take your temperature with a digital touch less thermometer & ask you to sign the digital waiver, if you have not already signed it.
- Once we enter you will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands
- Then you will be seated at your stylist station
- During your processing time your stylist will come over to update your card & rebook for future appointments
DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
- All stylists, employees, and guests will be required to wear a mask that covers your mouth & nose properly while in the salon and to wash/sanitize hands before & during your appointment.
- We ask you to please stay in your stylist chair as much as possible (to limit movement in the Salon space) and please do not to touch surfaces or products to avoid cross contamination.
- Stylists and employees are following strict sanitation and disinfecting procedures all day long. These procedures include but are not limited to frequent hand washing, disinfecting chairs, styling stations, and tools, disinfecting door handles and knobs, restrooms, and all high touch areas. Capes and smocks are one-time use only, per client.
- Your stylist may ask you to keep your personal items to a minimum and may ask you to disinfect your phone (or any other items sitting out) with a wipe.
- Hugging and handshaking and anything other than the required contact to provide your service should be avoided at this time.
- All retail purchases can be made through your stylist and your stylist can swipe your credit card OR you can place an order from one of retail links online. Your stylist will have your purchase bagged and ready as you walk out.
- During your processing time all payments for the days services & future appointments will be scheduled
- Our waiting area & beverage bar are currently closed to minimize traffic within the salon.
- We will continue to practice social distancing of 6 feet in the salon (except between you and your stylist during your service).
We believe it goes without saying, but just Incase...if you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, if you or someone you have been in close contact with is waiting for Covid-19 test results, please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment please.
